the drama with eggs didn't end with the platypus. recently some strange, shiny ones showed up. I didn't know whose they were, but it looked like they were being divvied up and tended to, so I didn't think too much about them. I thought they worked things out among themselves and that everything would be fine. but now this purple metallic creature has appeared and nobody has any explanations for anything. it seems that the seamonster has adopted it. I fear they have plans to rule over this land. I have confiscated the remaining eggs. (yum. peanut butter and chocolate.)

That is certifiably hilarious.
I especially like the egg, his acorn cap worn at a rakish angle, his large 'stache and bright eyes hiding untold mysteries (and possibly a platypus).

I really like your style, especially the way you use flowing lines and brushstrokes. some things I've made since the last time I posted here: made myself a gun that not only shoots but looks so real yeah it shoots through steelwith rays of dark bright matter and I made a friend who is handy at making more friends. Over the break I sculpted a bunny. If I could take a photo worth anything you could see it better, but since I can't then you can't. Other, equally bad photos (actually, that's not true...some of them are worse)

"unnecessary" "air" "quotes" my holiday tree I made the frog from someone else's (awesome) pattern, but I made up the patterns for the other things.

I am making a model Ferris wheel. I stole the motor from a VCR and hooked it up to a 5v AC/DC converter I had lying around (I don't know what it goes to. Probably I'll tear it up and then go "wait, why don't I have the wall wort for my Dustbuster?" or something like that). It turns a little too fast, so I may try to find a converter that's lower voltage or I may get all fancy and try to wire up a speed controller (I already tried once with a potentiometer I stole from the same VCR, but it didn't work. I don't know if it's because I am suck or because the dial was originally supposed to be a tuning knob rather than a speed controller).
I'm planning on cutting up a pizza box into a round wheel and spokes, then using Dixie cups or somesuch as the buckets. I'm not sure what to make the little people out of yet, but the rules are that it has to be something worthless like trash or obsolete equipment, so I can't just sculpt them out of clay.
(I chose a pizza box for the wheel because it means that I have an excuse to order pizza next week).
I wanted to make a video of how I wired up the motor and put it on YouTube (entitled, obviously, "How to kill yourself with electricity", since right now I have an alligator clip on the outside of the plug and a paper clip stuck inside the plug), but my camera's battery was dead and it takes pretty low-quality video anyway. Maybe once the battery's done charging.

Gentlemen, BEHOLD! is of course a Dr. Weird reference. ( Another one). The video as recorded ended with me saying something silly like "thank you and goodnight", but YouTube in its infinite wisdom decided to cut that part off.

Well I'm a screenwriter, have written 2 full scripts and I've struggled through partial drafts of about a dozens others. I like the concepts but can't put it all together. So I've focused on school instead of forcing a sqaure peg into a round hole and I'm currently outlining a buddy Romcom called "Weekend Warriors" I want to try to enter this into screenwriter contests to get my name out and get the ball rolling on a film career.
Halfway done with a script about parents who become masked vigalanties to protect their kids from bullies in high school and they turn it into a lucrative side venture. I'm going to have to rewrite it because I spent too much time on the set up and Act I and neglected to properly transition into Act II.
Yep. I have about six or seven projects I could write and be set for the next two or three years project wise if I just focused. I think I'm going to do that soon because I'm not too weight down by college.

I finished my Ferris wheel. I will hopefully have video, or at least pictures, before too long...
Because I didn't have a lot of time to spend and was constrained in my materials, the wheel isn't one you would want to ride. Ideally I would have some sort of pulley system to increase torque and decrease total speed, but instead I have to give it a little push to get it started and then it goes so fast that riders would be thrown off. But it's done, which is the important thing.

Making some signs for the bathroom door at the school, where someone kicked it until the lock was broken (so it's impossible to actually lock it). It reads: "KEEP OUT! This restroom is closed until further notice. You're in high school, so can we assume that you are literate? "Literate" means you can read.
We'll see if they still come in.
