She will be 19 this fall.  He is 44.

Wow. That's a marriage of redneck proportions. I just wonder how long they've been dating. Yikes!

Her married name is going to be "Bethany Barnard", which is an anagram of "Ban the Barnyard".

I don't have a thought on this except the obvious:  that he's too old for her, but I'll wish them all the best anyway.

I can't get into Shane & Shane, and I've had real trouble getting into Dillon's second and third albums, but her first one was really good. my main problem with her is that none of her songs strike me as memorable at first, even though I like her musical style (though more so on the first record when it was more folksy). It takes a while to get into her stuff, and I expect that with genres of music that are challenging to me, but this is CCM singer/songwriter pop; it shouldn't be that hard.
