Okay, so I'm cheating.

I ran out of time to finish my review of Ohio, so I posted my review of Disc 1 tonight and will post the second half tomorrow. Thursday at the latest.

Anyway, what do you think of it?

Cool, Josh. Well done.

I really want to buy this album, and you haven't helped curve my want for it. Unfortunately, I'm a broke college student... Oh well. My birthday and Christmas aren't far away...just a few months..

I'm not going to read it until I attempt a review of it.  I just feel like trying my hand at doing a proper album review on something I actually like.  Maybe I'll PM it to you, Josh...you can tell me what you think from your more experienced reviewing perspective.  Would you do that for me?

(I'm personally more comfortable engaging others directly on art, like in this message board, but I think it would be beneficial to me and maybe to others).

btw, I emailed Pitchforkmedia that they should review "Ohio".  I don't think they listened to me, but oh well.  I'm always interested in their stuff.

btw2, you should check out Cat Power's "You Are Free", Josh.  I think you'd like that one.  Cat Power is really a solo female artist.

btw3, I listened to The Innocence Mission's "Befriended" today.  It's quite excellent, although I like Cat Power's disc a little.

I'll gladly do it for you, bloop, though I'd prefer an e-mail over a PM, unless you don't want to show your e-mail address. You can use the my address from my Phorum profile.

Thanks, Kelli.  =)

Part 2 is up tonight. And bloop, I got your review, but haven't had time to read it very carefully yet. I'll get back to you on it this weekend, though.

I corrected some things, in grammar and wording, so I'll wait for that and combine some of your suggestions with what I've already changed.  Thanks, in advance, for checking into it.

Very well-written review, btw, Josh.
