The whole Tim Tebow fanwagon. I just don't get it. I mean, I get being a fan of someone for being good at a sport and all, even though I'm personally immune to caring about that sort of stuff. But I don't get why he's pretty much being beatified as a hero of the faith or something. I find it tacky, personally.

I think it makes no sense to buy various shapes and brands of those plastic food-storage containers. the different brands can't stack very well on each other, and the lids are not interchangeable, and it's all so annoying, whyyyyyyyyyyy?!?! then there are the glass ones that come in different sizes which nest in each other, but if you have multiple sets of those, the ones that are the same size do not stack except in a leaning tower of Pisa sort of way. and the corningware sort with opaque lids--those are the worst. not only can you not see what is inside but the lids are nearly impossible to seal and unseal. argh blargh blargh.

options! and none of them work!

okay, some of them work, but you have to sort through them every time, and why should this even be necessary??

Thats why you sort them by type, size, etc.

of course they must be sorted by type/size! that is exactly the problem--there is an unnecessary amount of sorting that must be done because there are things of the same rough size/general shape that don't work or fit together. BRETHREN, THESE THINGS OUGHT NOT SO TO BE!

I think the problem has the same root cause as having different types of socks. I prefer to have all the same type of socks, so I don't have to make pairs when doing laundry. Just throw them all in a drawer. If I pull out two white socks, I know they match. But sometimes I'm given socks, sometimes random people leave their socks at my house and they get caught up with my laundry, and sometimes I buy things at the supermarket contained in socks and then reuse them afterward.

(OK, that last one doesn't actually happen, but it does apply to plastic containers).

If you don’t have freedom as a principle, you can never see a reason not to make an exception. There are constantly going to be times when for one reason or another there’s some practical convenience in making an exception.

I just read an article where the author wrote "this applies to other mediums as well".

OK, I can grudgingly accept that "media is a plural noun" has departed from our collective linguistic consciousness. But to create a new plural is to fall even lower, to depths I refuse to plumb.

Or perhaps he was talking about spirit mediums, in which case I'm even more confused.

Hire/continue employing fat gym teachers. I'm under the assumption that a teacher should be able to do what he or she asks the kids to do.

Perhaps this falls more under the category of "Things people do that annoy me" than "Things people do that make no sense", but it bothers me when people cut their grass in such a way that the grass blows all over the road, especially when people are riding by while they are doing it.
