Take the mellowness of Belle & Sebastian along with Camera Obscura and mix in the high energy of The New Pornorgraphers, Franz Ferdinand, and British Sea Power and you get Scottish quarter Sons & Daughters.  This Gift brings out the best in the band's recipe of indie rock and brit pop/rock.  Right now, it's sitting as my top album of the year and will be hard to knock off that perch.  We shall see.
