I graduated last December from college and am still currently looking for work. It is drawing very close to the time when my loan payments are required and it is causing a lot of stress. I am pressured on a lot of sides regarding what I should settle for, where I should go, and etc. If I can be prayed for to maintain strong motivation to seek a well-paying job as well as to find a place of my own to live, which is very needed right now, I would really appreciate it.  Thanks.  Pray for Joanna.

Will do.  I am currently looking for work while attending graduate school part-time. I had a temp job from september to december and have had no luck obtaining work where I live (Western new york state near Rochester).  I'm either underqualified or overqualified.  no middle ground.  I'll be praying!

thank you, it really means a lot. I have been trying to find a teaching position abroad in another country. I've been offered a couple jobs but I turned them down because I wanted a specific location close to a friend in the country I was applying for.  Now I wish I had accepted them...I don't know what else I want to do but I am applying everywhere now. I don't want to go back into retail but I might have to for a while...

Sometimes we have to do things we hate.  I've actually tried to get jobs which I consider to be beneath my skill and educational level but even they wont hire me cause i'm too qualified.

thank you for praying for me again...last week I had a video interview for a very nice teaching position in Japan that I thought I was underqualified for.  They offered me the job, and I accepted.  I'm very excited.  If things keep going forward I should be leaving in another month to start.

Sweet!

I'm kind of jealous, actually; someday I would like to take some time off and spend a couple months (or years) in Japan.
