I found an interesting article regarding one of my favorite works of fiction, Flannery O'Connor's "Parker's Back." I don't know if this belongs here or under Faith, but for now...

Interesting. Maybe I should read the work in question so I can understand some of the references...

Yes. "Parker's Back" is second only to "A Good Man is Hard to Find" on my personal totem pole of short stories.
