The Elms-- new album in 2008? 2009?

Well, evidently, The Elms have a new album coming out... some time soon. I know this because Thom e-mailed me last night, after reading my article about The Hold Steady for Christianity Today, and sent me an MP3 of a new song.

Anyone here who's more familiar with The Elms know when this album is coming out, or what it's called, or anything like that? (I suppose I could just ask Thom...)

Well, according to Wikipedia, it's tentatively called The Great American Midrange, and is expected in 2009.  I remember first hearing about this in the Spring, so I imagine it will be very early 2009.

I'm pretty excited for this.  The Chess Hotel was surprisingly great, and I have a feeling that they're not a band that's going to drop the ball.
