I do the same thing. It's called 'going off-topic', which is more of the rule than the exception here at the phorum. But I think it's a good thing.

Boba Fett is an overrated dope. I hated Lucas' decision to make him a semi-major character in the new series. He was killed by a blind guy on accident. He looks cool, though.

Han could sort of see, but that's not the point: later star wars books show that Fett survived his stint in the Sarlaac's gut and lived on for many more years as a bounty hunter.

In all fairness, Boba hasn't been a major character in Episodes 1 or 2, and we can't say with any certainty how major his role in Episode 3 will be. Jango's a lot cooler.

He looks cool, though. YES! Two good things here: And his new one's pretty cool... I feel inspired. Rokran likes a piece of Radioheads work! Awesome! I totally agree with you about Boba Fett. Everyone thinks he is this awesome, cool guy, and I think he just some random backround dude who everyone likes just because he has a cool helmet! Finally, someone agrees with me on this! Also, these Bobo Fett fans will tell you that Boba Fett didn't die. He escaped by blowing up his jetpack.

Ha, Dv. Beat you to it (though since my post is on the last page, it will probably get ignored...).
And he went up against the heroes! Of course he's going to be taken down eventually. I mean, it's not like he's going to win out.
How can you say Jango is cooler than Boba when Boba is Jango's clone?

How can you say Jango is cooler than Boba when Boba is Jango's clone? I personally don't like the expanded universe Staw Wars stuff, just because I think it waters down the purity of Lucas's vision. I know that sounds silly, but thats the way I feel about it. So if Lucas wanted Fett dead, hes dead, IMO.

Boba kind of is Jango so, in a way, they made an army of him. He's not a major character, but he's about 2 million minor ones.

I personally don't like the expanded universe Staw Wars stuff, just because I think it waters down the purity of Lucas's vision. I know that sounds silly, but thats the way I feel about it. So if Lucas wanted Fett dead, hes dead, IMO. I like a lot of the EU stuff, but Lucas feels free to violate it whenever he pleases, as I suppose is his right. But how do you know he wanted Fett dead? Maybe he just wanted him out of the way. And even Jabba says in the movie that in the belly of the Sarlaac you will 'learn new definitions of pain and suffering as you are digested over a perios of 1000 years.' Don't tell me that a bounty hunter with a suit of battle armor and a jetpack can't find a way out of the belly of some sand monster in that amount of time... And, Guest, they didn't make an army of Jango. They modified his genetic structure to make his clones more obedient and willing to follow orders. So it's like a less-independent Jango. Minor point, I know, but a point nonetheless.

Random Observation.
I have just watched a bunch of Monty Python stuff, and I just got R.E.M.'s Out of TIme at the library, so I have had "The Lumberjack Song" and "Losing My Religion" alternating in my head.
"I'm a lumberjack, and I'm OK"
"Thats me in the corner..."
"I sleep all night and I work all day"
"Losing my religion"
Weird.

I think that Lucas was wrong to just use Boba a few times and then just get rid of him. The EU books do him far greater justice. He's the best bounty hunter in the universe, not some throw away bad-guy.
