I see...I take issue with the wording, but Rich Stearns trumps me in this case I suppose. I take it that the hole then would be our lack of serving others?

I am on my third consecutive Neil Gaiman book right now, American Gods. I read The Graveyard Book and Good Omens before. Coraline is always out at the library.

One Another: Transformational Relationships in the Body of Christ: Thomas Jones and Steve Brown
This book could really use a copy editor. I haven't seen typos or spelling errors, but the phraseology is at times awkward and the sentence construction is difficult. However, it's fairly easy to get past all of this and see the meat underneath. I've only read the intro and the first chapter thus far, but there seems to be some good stuff therein.

Does anyone on here use Goodreads? I never think to post in this thread for some reason, but I update that regularly with what I'm reading. I always enjoy seeing what other people are reading, too, so if anyone is on it, let me know so I can add you as a friend. I like pillaging friends' lists to add books to my "to read" shelf.

I just recently started using Goodreads (Jessica Hall). I love it because I can now be impressed or depressed at the number of books I've read in any given month.

I tried using Goodreads, but I had the same problem with it that I have with most social networking nonsense: I had a hard time caring. I'm much less interested in what people are reading than what they thought about it. I just found it really awkward to use and thus never use it.

When I first discovered Goodreads, I thought about joining that website/networking group. Then I thought twice about joining and decided that I'd probably never use it and it'd most likely be a waste of time even if I did; so I never signed up with the site. But every now and then I'll scan through the book lists over there.

I mostly use it as a way of organizing my own lists of books; mainly books that I want to read. Otherwise I end up at the library not remembering anything I've been meaning to read. It works really well; I've worked my way through dozens of books that I've been meaning to read for years.
All of my friends give star ratings to the books they read, which gives me a general idea of how much they liked it, and I can always ask for more particulars on what they thought if I want. Several of them frequently will write "reviews" or comments indicating what they thought of it. I've read a lot of books I probably otherwise wouldn't have, on recommendation of friends on there.

Started reading the preface of Justification by NT Wright today in a Christian bookstore because it was the only interesting book I could find while my mom was shopping. I'll probably pick it up at some point, very good stuff.
