Hey guys...my eyes are watery as I type this, but I just found out that one of my former students, now 26, lost her 25 year old husband last week...to suicide...while she and her 1 year old son were there...and heard it...and cops were there as well.  She's hurting deeply, angry, going through all of the emotions you could imagine and then some.  She has reached out to me, even though she lives away and we haven't talked a lot in a few years, so obviously she still sees the potential in us and our church and our ministry to help her through this, but it's a LONG road ahead.  Anyways, I could say more, but my mind is a jumbled mess and maze of emotions.  Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear that...messed-up stuff happens in this world pretty much every day. I'm sure you know this, but even though God never promised to make our lives easy, he did promise that he can and will work even the difficult and tragic things out for good. I'll be praying for this situation.

If you don’t have freedom as a principle, you can never see a reason not to make an exception. There are constantly going to be times when for one reason or another there’s some practical convenience in making an exception.
