This is one of those records that immediately made me think of The Phorum: I think just about everyone here will enjoy this one to some extent, particularly murlough and DGP. This is at its heart a simple pop record, but it's the very best kind of pop: Sleek and sophisticated pop for grown-ups, with a rich and lavish production, wonderful melodies and big hooks, plenty of fun surprises and lots of variety. The lyrics are witty and smart and insightful. And the lead singer sounds a tiny bit like Aimee Mann.

It's a really fun album. Worth checking out.
