As to us not getting along, I don't know of any emerging issues so it's probably some squabble the audiophiles are getting into on the music board about whether music is best enjoyed on vinyl or etched into wax cylinders or something, or perhaps which indie darling band has sold out by actually turning a profit. These kids; can't leave 'em alone for a minute. |

It may not be an offensive term in itself, but since I definitely couched it in such a way that it's obvious I'm speaking pejoratively (though affectionately) about a group I don't include myself in, the potential for offense was there. Not that Phorumers are thin-skinned as a rule, but as an admin I have to at least keep up a facade of impartiality |

Just figuring it was better to be upfront about an isolated problem there that he could potentially stumble across and mistakenly think it's always like that. It's not. I didn't want our squabbling to make someone else feel unwelcome. Oh, and "music nerd" works for me. |
