OUTSTANDING album.

If you appreciate great singing and great songwriting-- on any level-- then you'll love this. Burch's finest album by a longshot.

It's simply a delight from start to finish. Burch dips into honky-tonk and R&B, blues and Latin, parlor crooning and rollicking rockabilly, and he does it all without drawing any attention to his own eclecticism. What ties it all together is that the songs are recorded live on the floor, with warmth and intimacy, and that they're all impossibly timeless and profound songs about love and devotion.

Highly recommended to anyone and everyone. For real.

Sounds like something I wouldn't normally listen to, but I'll give it a shot as soon as I get the chance.

I listened to a couple songs... nice sound, but I think it's something that just doesn't resonate with me personally, to the point where it's hard for me to tell where the song writing stands.
