I found this on another Christian forum, and found it interesting:

http://buildingchurchleaders.com/assessments/individuals/hermeneuticsquiz.html

An interpretation of the results:

http://www.christianitytoday.com/le/currenttrendscolumns/leadershipweekly/cln80225.html

Score     64
Evaluation  You scored between 53 and 65, meaning you're a moderate on The Hermeneutics Scale.

Not a surprise to me.

I'm progressive.

This was an awkward test for me, simply because I often identified with none of the provided answers, especially in questions on "issues."

Conservative, but one point away from moderate.  No surprise.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if the test was biased or if the test writer was ignorant or what...I didn't complete it because I had too much difficulty choosing among positions I didn't really believe.

If you don’t have freedom as a principle, you can never see a reason not to make an exception. There are constantly going to be times when for one reason or another there’s some practical convenience in making an exception.

the chief failure of the test as far as I can tell is that it thinks that it is possible to classify hermeneutics on a spectrum moving from one "side" to another or being somewhere in between those two poles, when there really is variety in hermeneutics beyond simple bipolarity. Hermeneutic understanding can be wholly different from each other in guiding principles in a way that the writer of this test doesn't seem to understand.
