This weekend marks the beginning of daylight saving time for 2011 for those in the US, except Hawaii and certain parts of Indiana and one neighborhood in Poughkeepsie.

Do the needful.

Just lampooning the goofy, wrong, and completely arbitrary rules around Daylight Saving Time.

I see those who aren't doing it as a step in the right direction. The arbitrariness (is that a word?) lies in those of us who have not yet been able to persuade our governments to drop it.

And I wouldn't put it past some town somewhere to rebel against their state and vote down DST. If a town smack in the middle of its state can vote to secede from that state, then anything's possible.
