Sorry to be that guy that creates an account just to ask a dumb random question; I'm almost certain at one point I had an account here that I've since lost/phorgotten. At the very least, I lurked for awhile back in the day. Not that that sounds creepy or anything.
Anywho, my query should be obvious from the subject line: anybody have any clue what has become of Chris Rice? I consider myself a phairly astute Googler/online researcher, but I haven't been able to find any info whatsoever beyond 2008. It's like he phell off the phace of the earth. Thought I'd check and see if anyone here happened to have any insight. Not that I begrudge him a break or a private life or anything, it's just a bit, shall we say, unorthodox to have disappeared so abruptly and silently from the public eye.
Appreciate any responses, and hope I didn't completely mess up phorum protocol.

I've actually been wondering about this too. I know his last couple records were an attempt at bridging the CCM/mainstream gap, which was modestly successful due to "When Did You Fall?", but I guess nothing from the subsequent album really took. (Pity; I thought What a Heart Is Beating For was one of his better discs.) It could be that he just went back to doing the youth director thing for a while, but I agree it's odd to have no news whatsoever.
Wish I had some more answers for ya.

Thanks for what we got, guys, and hopefully someone else may yet have more nuggets of sightings... btw, bloop, I'm pretty sure I remember you from todf (another entity that to my knowledge has possibly fallen off the face of the earth- I remember it changed hosts or something, and I don't know what ever happened to it). But assuming I have the right guy, I was somewhat fond of your snark and clapping Joker avatar. Best regards either way.
