Daylight saving time is, like, ending or something. Not forever (because that would be awesome) but more like just for the winter. It's sort of like a reverse groundhog, which never sees its shadow and instead punches you in the face. I don't know. But make sure you do the needful with your clocks so you don't miss out on the epic parties that happen during that so-called extra hour we have.

Does anyone else think it's weird that right after 1:59:59 it goes to 3am? It's like we're traveling through time. In the spring it's the reverse: right after 2:59:59, it goes to 2am. It's like Groundhog Day. You're cursed to relive a random hour during which you're probably asleep EVERY YEAR.

I think this post sets the record for number of times the word 'groundhog' has occurred in a post. But after typing this, some wisenheimer is going to post a post with more groundhogs than this one. Except now that I typed that, it won't happen. Or maybe it will. Being able to predict the future is confusing unless you keep it to yourself.

does it? that seems a backwards way of time springing forward.

I tried so hard to keep my extra hour this year (just get up an hour earlier which according to my body clock would be the normal time, and go to bed an hour earlier). Unfortunately that got obliterated by Tuesday due to my chronic insomnia. At least I was able to sleep that extra hour during the week when I really needed it rather than immediately wasting it on Sunday morning.

The thing I always wonder about, but forget to check, is the TV listings during the fall time change. Does it say 2 AM twice? Do they just repeat whatever was on at 2 AM or do they actually air two separate programs? Does anyone care if it's all infomercials and repeats of the local news anyway?
