A most excellent 4th of July to all of the American Phorumers, and a belated most excellent Canada Day to our neighbors to the north. I'm fumbling for something patriotic to say here, but I'm just drawing blanks. So... um, I'll hush now.

I'm curious as to what everyone does today to help celebrate our Independence in the good old states. I went to the Farragut town parade and I'm going out to eat tonight with my grandparents.

We cooked out and watched a movie. Rah rah for America, but I'm not a parade person.
A British friend online tells me the British celebrate the 4th as the day they no longer were associated with us uncultured colonists. Can't say I remember that in the history books, but no hard feelings after 200 years, eh?
