I got the news yesterday that while Adam Lett was sailboating he had part of his hand (mostly a finger) almost torn off. He has had surgery and they expect to know soon what the situation is going to be. If you could pray for healing and comfort to him and his family that would be good.

Thanks for the info. Will pray.

For those who don't know, Adam Lett is a recent high-school grad who a few of us here at the Phorum know, and a darn cool guy he is.

From what I've heard, Adam got his finger severed in a tow-rope and was flown to Kentucky for an 8 hour surgery to try to re-attach it. Although it's not for certain, they're thinking optimistically about the surgery. I'll let you know if I hear anything else.

I have heard some more today. I have heard that his middle finger (the one mostly severed) has turned pink meaning that the blood vein they attached to it has taken. They think Adam will be able to go home soon.

Mark saw Adam the other day, and they still don't know for sure if he'll ever get feeling/full motion back. It sounds pretty brutal (as well as scary), and poor Adam is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. I'll definitely keep him in my prayers.

I talked to Adam yesterday and he said he was able to start feeling some in the finger! Praise God! He has to go to Ky again this week to look at it again and tell him where to go and what to do next. He was feeling really great though when I talked to him.
