Pretty self-explanatory.
I vote Parachutes. By far the best.

I say Coldplay wins.
I voted for Rush, just because I love "Clocks." I'm really not that familiar with either album, so thats not an informed judgement.

I've only heard their second one, which I love, so I'm dying to hear Parachutes.

Not a big Rush of Blood fan. And Parachutes is no masterpiece, but it's slow, jazzy, emotive, and more original than Rush of Blood. I like it.

I'll put in a vote for "Rush of Blood". I'm not a big fan, though, and I like both of them.

I went with Parachutes, but for me it was really close. I just picked the album which had more of the songs I liked.
Actually I was listening to Coldplay yesterday, and I was pleasantly "re-surprised". They are definitely growin on me.
Overall, I think, Parachutes is more original (as Josh said), while Rush is bit more pop-oriented. Both are good decent albums and I would recommend them if you like melodic, mellow, atmospheric pop-oriented music.
PS (edit): Btw, Clocks is a fine song.

That was a tough call, but I decided to go with Rush. Now, if I were to break it down song by song:
Parachutes Don't Panic **** Shiver ***** Spies ***** Sparks **1/2 Yellow ****1/2 Trouble ****1/2 Parachutes **1/2 High Speed ***1/2 We Never Change ****1/2 Everything's Not Lost **** Life Is for Living (Hidden Track) **1/2 Average Score: 42.5/11 = 3.86
A Rush of Blood to the Head Politik **** In My Place **** God Put a Smile on Your Face ****1/2 The Scientist ****1/2 Clocks ***** Daylight ***** Green Eyes ** Warning Sign ***1/2 A Whisper **** A Rush of Blood to the Head **** Amsterdam ***1/2 Average Score: 44/11 = 4.0
So it was a close race... but Rush wins. I do like the more acoustic sound on Parachutes... Rush just feels more complete.

I think I'll have to listen to the albums, esp. Rush, all the way through again. Maybe I'd change my mind. It is so close. I think on Rush they were much more surer of themselves. They have definitely become a more confident band. I still think I lean towards parachutes a bit more.

I loathe "Politik."
I admit, though, that most of my favorite Coldplay songs are on Rush. "Spies" is up there, but "Clocks," "In My Place," and especially "The Scientist" are just KILLER. As an album, though, I think it's weaker than Parachutes.

Parachutes! no contest.. I love Rush as well, but it's like the sequel, ya know? never really as good.
"Everything's not lost" is just simply amazing.. ESPECIALLY live in concert.
But Daylight is probably my second fav.

Please don't bosh me I meant no harm by my statement, I was simply making fun of comments that I've heard in the media lately about how Coldplay appeals to middle class white people. i don't remember the whole story, but I thought it was somewhat absurd. It was stereotyping music and people, like saying that all balck people must like rap. I was simply poking fun at this statement, hence the wink.
