Who here plays an instrument, sings, writes songs, does production work, or anything else involved in making music?  If so, give us some details, maybe even links to your work.   I myself play the guitar and piano.  With the piano, I have been doing mostly classical stuff, but I recently have branched into a lot of jazz stuff.  In the guitar department, I have a Fender Stratocaster, a cheapie practice amp that I'm seriously considering replacing, and an RP200 multi effects unit.  I play along with my CDs(or try to, anyways) and do some improvisational jazz stuff.  So, lets here about you!

I've played the piano for about nine-ish years. It's a passion of mine. I long to be able to write music to go along with my lyrics but the music never seems to come. I attempted to learn the guitar once but teaching myself didn't get me very far. Someday I will learn, though. I just don't know when that day might be.

I play the Saxophone. I've played Alto for 5 years and Baritone for 2 and a half. I also have an old Soprano that I fiddle around on once in a blue moon, but I'm not that good at it. I really like playing the Bari, but it's strictly a hobby, and since I only own an Alto and a Soprano, I don't exactly dedicate a lot of time to it.

I would like to learn how to play the piano, but I'm not patient enough to actually bother to undergo instruction. Oh, well.

I play the guitar. I have a cheap, red guitar from the local flea market...poor thing has been cracked and abused, but it still works. I love going to lessons, although I don't practice nearly as much as I should. My dad promised me my dream guitar if i practice, so I'm hoping to pick up with the practicing in the near future.

I took piano lessons in grade school but don't really play much now other than helping my little sister with her lessons.

I also learned how to play the recorder and handbells in school and a few years ago I figured out how to play simple tunes on the harmonica. I can sight-read music and sing it if it isn't too difficult.

I'd like to think I can sing. Whether or not I do have any true talent in that area, I love to do it. Online karaoke when you're home alone is great fun, folks.  B)

I play guitar, a little piano (don't really know how, just use what theory I already know and try to apply it).  I have a Fender Strat w/blue and silver lace sensors, and a Seymour Duncan JB Jr. pickup in the bridge.  As far as amps go, I have a Crate GFX1200 half stack and a Marshall G50R CD 50 watt combo amp.  I have a Jim Dunlop Original Crybaby wah, Ibanez TS7 tube screamer, Ibanez CF7 Chorus/Flanger, DOD Grunge FX69B distortion, and a Line 6 POD 2.0 guitar effects processor/recording pre amp. I really want to get a Gibson Les Paul faded double cut, and maybe a better amp...like a Marshall jcm800 or 900, Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, or a Sunn Model T.  But all of those nice vanities cost money.... wacko
Oh, and I try to sing; I was the lead guitarist/lead vox in a band but that phase has ended...kinda messy...hopefully I can find something more serious.
