Amnesiac Pact Like Sardines... Pyramid Song I Might Be Wrong Knives Out

Airbag (1st) Exit Music
Morning Bell National Anthem
I Might Be Wrong Sardines
There There Where I End (I grew to love all four of these songs even more after hearing them live, so this is tough...)

Airbag (1st) Don't kill off our intro track! Geeze... Exit Music (First Choice) Karma Police Morning Bell (First Choice) How to Disappear Completely Everyone(everyone on around!) needs to start thinking about track order. My proposal: we start off with Airbag, if it survives, and end with Street Spirit. In between, we come up with an order where the songs alternate from loud to soft, busy to quiet, without any abrupt transitions.

I'm not sure I like that. I hate it when a compilation starts off with the lead track from another album. Since "Airbag" is first on OKC, it shouldn't be first on this record. I think we should do the very Radiohead-like thing here and start the album with something a little unorthodox... maybe "Idiotheque"?

We're going to handle track order in two threads. In one, we'll take recommendations for the track order, and then we'll use another thread to try to come to an agreement which track order will make the final cut.
(I'll also reveal all of the bonus tracks I'm including with this in the next round, but they'll all be tacked at the end of the disc after a gap)
Finally, I'll take orders for the finished disc. I don't think we have enough people on this site to worry about creating a pyramid. The only thing, I'll say I'm positively retarded in terms of artwork, covers and so forth. If you want something neat like that...labels and so forth...do it yourself.

OK Computer Climbing Up the Walls (1st choice - even though I defended it earlier) Karma Police
Kid A How to Disappear Completely (1st choice - as much as it pains me) Dude, I can't even choose between the other three songs. They're my favorites on the album. Sorry.
Amnesiac Knives Out (1st choice) I Might Be Wrong
Hail to the Thief Where I End and You Begin (1st choice) There There
Oh, and I agree with the idea that you can not start a compilation with the 1st song from an album. Nor can you end with the last. That's just unimaginative.
NP: "How to Disappear Completely", Radiohead

Though its not imaginative, Airbag and Street Spirit are each one of the best intros and and closers, respectively, that I have ever heard. I think they would work great on the best of, as I believe Radiohead did intend them openers and closers, and made them that way. But, whatever you guys want is OK, to, I guess.

Assuming they both make the cut, I would be perversely amused if we put "Paranoid Android" and "Knives Out" back to back.

You're thinking Knives Out --> Paranoid Android, I'm assuming (eat mice, then vomit as opposed to the other way around). Yeah, it does transition well, but it probably actually sounds better the other way around.

Knives Out is an amazing song! Love that. People try to shoot me for singing it all the time. My mom thinks I'm a psychopath.

Skraps LOL. For some reason, I like to listen to "Climbing Up the Walls" while walking around campus. I wonder what everyone would think if they knew that....

Are we ready for the next round? Looks like all the votes are in. I just bought Hail to the Thief today, so I now own four out of five Radiohead albums.
