'Fan Dance' was actually the one i was looking for, since you recommended it so strongly, but they didn't have it. ah, well.

i think, listening to 'So' again, I really do like some tracks, specifically those you mentioned were really good ~ outstanding, almost.  And is it just me, or is the song 'in your eyes' a really famous song.. because it brings back some memory, i don't know what...

probably of the 80s.. hehe  Smiley  anyway i did like that song, but most of the songs were just TOO 80s for me, like 'big time' for example. whoa.

"Big Time" does sound slightly dated, perhaps, but I love the song. Great satire. "And I'll pray to a big God... as I kneel in a big church! Big Time!"

I enjoy Up, though I don't think it's anywhere near the pop classic that So is. The songwriting certainly isn't as strong. But yeah, it's a lovely album. To each his/her own.

(Or to each glog own, for those of you who remember that thread...)

I think the only Gabriel album I've heard in full is Us. I haven't listened to it in a while but I remember liking it a lot when I first heard it.
