The Dente CD arrived yesterday. The package had Christine's personal address label on it. The CD came in a cardboard slipcover, which has a hand-written note "Thanks for Listening!" on the front. The CD itself was autographed by Scott and Christine. A hand-printed song sheet was included in the package. I'd say that's a personal touch!

For some reason, I confused him with some other person, thinking that JMM was some CCM artist. far from it!!!

We are talking about the same guy who wrote "How He Loves", right? Not within the CCM sphere, but still a Christian artist, if I'm not mistaken?

Type of music doesn't seem to define whether something's "CCM" as much as the label a person's signed to. Though it is very tough to be signed to a major CCM label and be doing anything remotely innovative... which is why David Crowder Band's status still baffles me.

Well when I say "CCM", I usually mean stuff like Avalon, Point of Grace, etc.

It's a nebulous term. I think a good amount of Christian rock stuff fits into it, which doesn't automatically make that stuff not respectable... but it does make it less likely to be.

Are you incredulous at the title, or the content of the album? I haven't heard it yet. I know that John Reuben's albums always sound wack to me on first listen. NP: "Magnificent", U2
