Not at all. I'm sure there are many fans of those bands who are also fans of laptops.

Haha, well I cut off the "For Fans Of" part. It has the actual logo's of those bands, so it is kind of a cool looking sticker. But yes, I'd say a good majority of fans of those bands are laptop fans as well.  Grin

And writes or (gets written for her) lots of the catchiest GD hooks of the last decade, goodness.

I gave a listen to "Bad Romance" and the nonsense syllables were stuck in my head all day.  banghead verily, this music is evil.

That's happened to me with "Pa-Pa-Paparazzi".  Angry

I haven't heard (and don't plan to listen to) that one. I didn't mind P-P-P-Poker Face as much because the parody Neutra Face greatly amused me, and if it got stuck in my head I'd just think about Neutra Face and laugh.

Let's just say that Switchfoot wrote a certain song about annoying pop songs that get stuck in your head which now seems eerily prescient.

She's one of those people I enjoy listening to, but I kind of hate that I do.

I kind of appreciate the balance she supplies to my musical diet. Without her, and a few others, it'd be all somber Poe-faced indie rock and various experiments.

Poe? Hello late 90s!!

I have to congratulate him on the double meaning, though. Very well phrased.

-It's been a good while since I could say I enjoyed a strait up metalcore album, but this one is actually sounding pretty good.

It was! That was my first time going there and that place is amazing! I didn't even get to finish looking at all the music before my wife dragged me out of there. I could've spent all afternoon there and a whole lot of money! I'm going to have to make the 3.5 hour trip to Nashville more often!

Oh, okay.  Also "Help I'm Alive" and "Stadium Love" were initial favorites.  And "Gold Girls Guns" or whatever it's called.

I just had a dream where, for some strange reason, I was trying to explain the meaning of that song to somebody.

Really good band.  I have the previous album.

I bought Deepspace5 - The Future Ain't What It Used To Be

hip-hop perfection right there.  Clearly their best album.  Blew my mind.

She's a local favorite around here, and after seeing her in concert twice I can see why.  She can really tear it up on the violin.

The Juliana Theory - Love

This is bombastic, and not as epic as Emotion Is Dead, but still fun.
