A more accurate name for this album would be Utter Crapola, or the uber marketing savvy Don't Waste Your Hard Earned Money On This! I checked out the site's review of the album before buying it because I usually agree with you guys 100%. Not this time though, the review makes it out that the album is actually, well....good. Forget the fact that the guy can't sing. Many bands have singers that can't sing, but usually they make up for it in the musical and lyrical areas. Someone needs to get that dude a ryhming dictionary. And back to writing good hooks? I can't remember a single solatary note from that album the second I stop listening to it. I don't have a problem with tell-it-like-it-is, straightfoward type lyrics, but the cyrptic and metaphorical stuff works much better for them. Give me a weeping dolphin over this junk any day of the week, month, year, century, or millenium.

LOL. For some reason I think I know who you are... Mmmhh...
I must confess you're a rare breed. Give the album some time, not just a cursory listen. Many Live enthusiasts I've interacted with agree that this album is the closest they've gotten to the
Throwing Copper
sound.
Anyway... the review didn't make it seem like I was gushing over it, did it? I just gave it a 'fair' mark.
Peace out,
Andree

I've already gave it a few listens just so I can get my money's worth. It's one of those albums that instead of growing on you, becomes worse upon each listen. Maybe it's just not my thing, but if this is close to Throwing Copper, i'm not going to waste my time on it. Meaning I won't be out purchasing TC anytime soon..if ever.
Fair, I suppose so. I just have a problem using any remotely positive adjectives in descrbing the album.
Weeping dolphins are cool with me. They say their search is over. Apparently they found the wrong thing.
Then again, I love Zoegirl so I probably have no credibility whatsoever in discussing musical matters.
