I have recently finished a moderate-length paper on certain issues in Christianity and Buddhism. Anyone interested can find it here (MS Word required).

Comments are welcome.

I tried, but I could not find the definition of "aretological" or any of its forms in my dictionary.  Your paper seems well thought out, but I would need to know what that word means to fully understand it.

P.S. "karmic food chain" would be a great name for a band. laugh

Fun facts about Chuck Norris:

Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

Chuck Norris can divide by zero.

Chuck Norris CAN believe it's not butter.

I have Word Perfect...

If you put into .rtf, I'd be able to read it though.

Yeah, most dictionaries don't have it. Try looking under aretololgy for a basic defintion. It's essentially virtue-based ethics, which states that the virtue of the individual is more important than any act of the individual. So while teleology (that one should be in the dictionary) is more ends-based, asking what the person did, and deontology is more duty-based, aretology puts the emphasis on the individual and their own virtue rather than on specific acts.

Hope that makes sense  rolleyes

Of course, I should have done that initially. Rich text format version: GO!

By the way, I'm not actually hosting these files myself, so those who have had problems in the past getting files I offer can still try. Or not; I certainly wouldn't waste my time if I were you Wink
