Well, I'm not a big fan of the first Terminator movie, and I haven't even seen T2, but I'm genuinely shocked and intrigued to hear that T3 is actually a pretty good film. Or at least Decent Films seems to think so:

I haven't seen the first or the second Terminator movies but you reminded me of a theory (unrelated directly to T3) posed by my co-worker yesterday: most likely at least one of a series of movies will be good; they can't *all* be lousy.

That's pretty funny, though I wish it were true in more cases...

I didn't like the other two, and I'm not planning on seeing the third one. But good for it if it doesn't suck...

Guess I'm not going to be popular here but Terminator II was the greatest sequal of alltime... apart from franchises (cos LOTR II was much better than I) name a better sequal if you dare...

And Speed II and Matrix Resaturated don't count!

So what makes The Lord of the Rings a 'franchise?' Would you call Star Wars a 'franchise?' Because both AOTC and Empire were better than T2. X2 was also far better than T2. I suppose 'Star Trek' is a franchise, and I've only seen about 3 of the 2,381 movies they have, but The Wrath of Kahn was pretty good, and certainly better than T2. Die Hard 2 was about as good as T2, if not better.
Then again, I've flushed things better than T2, so that's not saying much...

I mostly liked the bad guy in the T movies.  The special effects were pretty cool then for the mean guy.  The preview didn't look so bad for T3, but we'll see.  I'll probably see it soon.
