I would just be interested to know how the rest of the Phorum members try to witness to others.  As I'm sure we all know, it's our "Great Commission"...

I am mostly laid-back.  I try to reach others with my actions and attitudes, and when an opportunity arrises, I jump in and try to share the Gospel.  I'm not the real out-going type that is all in-your face, although I do wish I had more boldness when it comes to witnessing.  I also do a lot of praying for certain people, just asking God to work in their hearts, and to provide opporutnities for me to witness to them.

Also, does anyone have any experiences where God has used you to bring sometime into His kingdom?

I recently was able to invite our neighbors to church. I mowed their lawn all summer... But they didn't come! mellow

Usually, I just wait until someone says something wrong...then BAM! slam it down hard on their head! laugh No I usually do.... I just don't slam it on them. I try to get them to prove their point. when they can't, I let them know the truth. usually its they just say... It doesn't matter if I'm saved, Jesus loves me!

Its hard for me to hear stuff like that and I just want to grab them and say "YOU'RE GOING TO HELL!! BELIEVE IN JESUS!" Smiley  but i don't.... =)

I must confess I'm not very good at it. I'm ashamed to say sometimes I've even compromised some of my own beliefs just to try to make Christianity more appealing to others... but that's just stupid...

And then I've also just tried to get people to say the sinner's prayer along with me... I've done that a couple times but I don't really think it was genuine on their part they just did it to get some temporary relief...

So I've basically done it all the WRONG ways and I guess I'm just relying on God to lead me now...
