I dunno, dude. This is something I would want to see, if the darn thing ever came to Toronto. It sounds pretty good, although maybe questionable at parts or whatever.

A key scene in the production depicted Hero "turning the tables" in the Synagogue. Although it was a very powerful and captivating, my thoughts immediately went to the giant commerce tables that filled the foyer.

Indeed, how hypocritical of CCM Land to smugly point a finger at Jesus merchandising.

Great review, BDG. I've never had much interest in the show, and that hasn't changed, but it's a great piece of writing.

Worry not, my brother.

I didn't dislike the live stage show, but I didn't jump on one foot either.  It was entertaining, if not a bit hard to follow.  At the end, while everybody was clapping and clamoring, it felt like this huge, uncomfortable cheerleader-for-Jesus fest.
