Go the page and read "Go ahead, God, get it over with - nuke us" .

Now, is this person very lost, or what(I know, we all are)?  Totally missing the entire point of grace(and the character of God), don't you think?  What are good ways of approaching a person like this?

Fun facts about Chuck Norris:

Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

Chuck Norris can divide by zero.

Chuck Norris CAN believe it's not butter.

Truly and deeply disturbing. What would I say to this person? Oh, dear... I pray that I'm never in that position, to tell you the truth.

I'd try giving them an accurate representation of God.  Though in my opinion, this person seems completely full of themselves that is the exact opposite of what they claim to be.  But's that's just my thoughts.

Until they're willing to listen though, it's all pointless.

I'm considering sending a reply back to the paper, but I don't think they would publish it, the way I would write it.  It might be worth a try, though.

I think this is an excellent example of why passages should not be taken out of context...heck, with some of those passages, if he'd even read the whole thing (some of them are actually OVER TEN WORDS, so I guess that might exceed his attention span somewhat) he would have seen WHY the writer chose to make those seemingly cruel statements about mankind.
If I had to guess, this person feels like his lifestyle (after all, he seems proud of his new-age homosexual way of living) is contrary to what Christianity teaches, and rather than give it up he is looking for anything he can find to discredit the Bible and God Himself. I don't know how I would approach a person like this, but I wouldn't tell him (the way I'm sure the church has been telling him all his life) that he's wrong just because God says he is. I would try to introduce him to who God really is, and at the same time show him WHY God thinks sin is wrong and why logically and realistically God's commandments are in our best interest.

If you don’t have freedom as a principle, you can never see a reason not to make an exception. There are constantly going to be times when for one reason or another there’s some practical convenience in making an exception.

I concur with that assesment.
